College of Pharmacy
General Admission Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or its equivalent is approved by the UAE Ministry of Education with a minimum (GPA) of (3 out of 4) point scale, or its equivalent on the Bachelor's level.
- A valid English Language Proficiency Certificate in one of the below certificates or its equivalent, at least as the following:

* The exception to this requirement applies to students whose mother tongue is English and who finished a Bachelor’s degree from an institution where English is the language of instruction in an English-speaking country. |
Conditional Requirments
A student may be granted conditional admission to the Master of Science in Clinical Pharmacy in the following cases:
- If a student scored (Emsat 1250, 197CBT, iBT 71,530 PBT, or 5.5 IELTS Academic), s/he will be granted conditional admission, provided that s/he or be subjected to dismissal:
- Obtains at least a score of (EmSat 1400, 550 in TOEFL) or (6 in IELTS Academic) or equivalent by the end of the first term of joining the program,
- Registers for no more than( 6) credit hours in the first term of joining the program
- Must achieve a minimum of CGPA (3 out of 4) in the first six credit hours of the approved program.
- If a student obtains a Bachelor's degree with a CGPA (2 to 2.99 out of 4) or its equivalent and meets the conditions of the English Language proficiency requirements as set out above:
- Students must take a maximum of nine credit hours of courses studied for the graduate program during the period of conditional admission
- Must achieve a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or its established equivalent, in these nine credits of courses studied for the graduate program or be subject to dismissal.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (BPharm or BSc) from a University/Institute recognized by UAE with a minimum GPA of (3 out of 4-point scale.
- A valid English Language Proficiency Certificate in one of the below certificates or its equivalent, at least as the following:

Conditional Requirments
A student may be granted conditional admission to the Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences in the following cases:
- If a student obtains a score of (IELTS Academic 5.5) or (TOEFL 530) or (EMSAT 1250) or its equivalent and has an average of at least (3 out of 4), s/he will be granted a conditional admission, provided that the student:
- Obtains a score of (550 in TOEFL) or (6 in IELTS Academic) by the end of the first semester of joining the program.
- Registers for no more than (6) credit hours in the first semester of joining the program, and gets a GPA of (3 out of 4).
- Obtains a GPA of (3 out of 4) in the first (6) hours of the approved program.
- If a student obtains a Bachelor’s degree with a GPA between (2 and 2.99 out of 4) or its equivalent and meets the conditions of the English language certification, s/he will be granted a conditional admission, provided that the student:
- Registers for no more than (9) credit hours in the first semester of joining the program.
- Obtains a GPA of (3 out of 4) in the first (9) hours of the approved program.
College of Law
General Admission Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree of law or its equivalent approved by the UAE Ministry of Education with a minimum (GPA) of (3 out of 4), or its equivalent on the Bachelor level.
- Obtain Arabic language proficiency certificate (EMSAT) with a score not less than (1250).
- A valid English Language Proficiency Certificate in one of the below certificates or its equivalent, at least as the following:

Conditional Requirements
A student may be granted conditional admission in the Master of Public Law in the following cases:
- If a student obtains a GPA between (2 and 2.99 out of 4), s/he will be granted a conditional admission, provided that s/he:
- Registers for no more than (9) credit hours in the first semester of joining the program.
- Obtains at least (3 out of 4) or its equivalent in the registered program during the first semester
General Admission Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree of law or its equivalent approved by the UAE Ministry of Education with a minimum (GPA) of (3 out of 4), or its equivalent on the Bachelor's level.
- Obtain an Arabic language proficiency certificate (EMSAT) with a score not less than (1250).

Conditional Requirements
A student may be granted conditional admission in the Master of Private Law in the following cases:
- If a student obtains a GPA between (2 and 2.99 out of 4), s/he will be granted a conditional admission, provided that s/he:
- Registers for no more than (9) credit hours in the first semester of joining the program.
- Obtains at least (3 out of 4) or its equivalent in the registered program during the first semester
- A Bachelor's degree of law or its equivalent approved by the UAE Ministry of Education with a minimum (GPA) of (3 out of 4), or its equivalent on the Bachelor level.
- May accept students with a bachelor of Police Science and criminal justice in the master's program in criminal science, provided the student should have studied at least 65% of the area of law and courses related to the criminal, certified by the Ministry of education in the UAE.
- A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or area of study (1) After taking 6 remedial courses in Law (over 2 semesters). (2) Subject to meeting other admissions requirements.
- Obtain Arabic language proficiency certificate (EMSAT) with a score not less than (1250).

CONDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
A student may be granted conditional admission in the Master of Criminal Science in the following cases:
- If a student obtains a GPA between (2 and 2.99 out of 4), s/he will be granted a conditional admission, provided that s/he:
- Registers for no more than (9) credit hours in the first semester of joining the program.
- Obtains at least (3 out of 4) or its equivalent in the registered program during the first semester
College of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences
- Bachelor degree in Arabic Language Education degree or Arabic Language and Islamic Studies Teacher Education degree, or Arabic Language degree approved by the UAE Ministry of Education with a minimum (GPA) of (3 out of 4).
- A valid English Language Proficiency Certificate in one of the below certificates or its equivalent, at least as the following:
EmSAT TOEFL IELTS Academic 950 450 4.5 - Obtain an Arabic Language Proficiency certificate (EmSAT) with a score not less than (1250).
- Bachelor degree in Islamic Teacher Education degree or Arabic Language and Islamic Studies Teacher Education degree or Islamic Education approved by the UAE Ministry of Education with a minimum (GPA) of (3 out of 4).
- A valid English Language Proficiency Certificate in one of the below certificates or its equivalent, at least as the following:
EmSAT TOEFL IELTS Academic 950 450 4.5 - Obtain an Arabic Language Proficiency certificate (EmSAT) with a score not less than (1250).
For Arabic taught curriculums:
To be admitted into the Professional Diploma in teaching program, the applicant must have:
- A Bachelor's degree or it's equivalent approved by the UAE Ministry of Education, with a minimum (GPA) of (2 out of 4), or its equivalent on the Bachelor's level.
- Obtain an Arabic language proficiency certificate (EMSAT) with a score not less than (1250).
- A valid English Language Proficiency Certificate in one of the below certificates or its equivalent, at least as the following:
EmSAT TOEFL ITP IELTS Academic 950 450 4.5 - A certificate of equivalency is issued by the Ministry of Education in the UAE. In case the bachelor certificate is issued from abroad
For English taught curriculums:
- A Bachelor's degree or it's equivalent approved by the UAE Ministry of Education, with a minimum (GPA) of (2 out of 4), or its equivalent on the Bachelor's level.
- A valid English Language Proficiency Certificate in one of the below certificates or its equivalent, at least as the following:
EmSAT TOEFL ITP IELTS Academic 1400 550 6 - A certificate of equivalency is issued by the Ministry of Education in the UAE. In case the bachelor certificate is issued from abroad
College of Business
General Admission Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree or it's equivalent approved by the UAE Ministry of Education, with a minimum (GPA) of (3 out of 4), or its equivalent on the Bachelor's level.
- A valid English Language Proficiency Certificate in one of the below certificates or its equivalent, at least as the following:

Conditional Requirements
A student may be granted conditional admission in the Master of Business Administration in the following cases:
- If a student obtains a score of (IELTS Academic 5.5) or (TOEFL 530) or (EMSAT 1250) or it's equivalent and has an average of at least (3 out of 4), s/he will be granted a conditional admission, provided that the student:
- Obtains a score of (550 in TOEFL) or (6 in IELTS Academic) by the end of the first semester of joining the program.
- Registers for no more than (6) credit hours in the first semester of joining the program, and gets a GPA of (3 out of 4).
- Obtains a GPA of (3 out of 4) in the first (6) hours of the approved program.
- If a student obtains a Bachelor’s degree with a GPA between (2 and 2.99 out of 4) or its equivalent and meets the conditions of the English language certification, as set out above, s/he will be granted a conditional admission, provided that the student:
- Registers for no more than (9) credit hours in the first semester of joining the program,
- Obtains a GPA of (3 out of 4) in the first (9) hours of the approved program. A student may study the (9) credit hours in two semesters (3 + 6) or three semesters (3 + 3 + 3).
- Students with Bachelor degrees in specializations unrelated to business administration can advance to the MBA program, taking into account the following conditions:
- Taking 4 prerequisite courses as specified by a department, and can only be exempted from all remedial materials that have been studied at a Bachelor’s level.
Transfer from Another University
- Admission terms mentioned for Bachelor's degree holders.
- Student has studied courses at the postgraduate level and with grade not less than B.
- Content of the courses studied by the student is similar to the courses offered by the university, determining this by looking at the descriptions of the courses.
- The number of credit hours transferred from the previous university shall not exceed 9 credit hours.
Admission of Visiting Students
- An official letter from student’s home university pointing out the courses that the student may register for in the program.
Admission of listener Students
- The student must get the approval of the dean of the College and the coordinator of the master's program.
