A Positive Energy given by AAU President and Vice President for the Freshmen Students

The Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University organized an orientation meeting for the freshmen students who joined Al Ain University by the beginning of the new academic year 2019-2020 at both campuses, Al Ain and Abu Dhabi.

Prof. Ghaleb El Refae, AAU President, emphasized the academic advising role for new students, In addition to the importance of listening to the professor's instructions. Also, he stressed that all the AAU’s staff will take care of them and give them the support. In addition to, provide all the services for the students to create an appropriate atmosphere.

The orientation meeting at Al Ain was attended by Dr. Ibtehal Aburezeq Dean of Student Affairs, who encouraged students to participate in extracurricular activities during their academic career to entertain themselves and create a recreational atmosphere beside their studies, stressing that the Deanship of Student Affairs is fully prepared to meet all the students' mental, physical and emotional needs.

The meeting was also attended by the colleges Deans who introduced themselves to the students, stressing their keenness to care the students and solve their academic problems and provide them with advice and guidance.

At Abu Dhabi campus, Dr. Amer Qasem, AAU Vice President, said that the university embraces its students with all their creativity, energies and talents. He added; "Al Ain University is proud to be one of the most prestigious educational institutions in the UAE, which is always striving for global leadership in education”. He also wished all students a fruitful and successful school year.

For his part, Dr. Hani Al Jarrah, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, talked about the Deanship of Student Affairs role, its objectives, and activities. He also spoke about the university system, reviewing the rights of students and the most important university terms.

At the end of the meeting, a group of AAU students presented an entertaining play about the university life, in addition to a number of competitions.
