Pharmacy Career Day Strengthens Student Engagement with Leaders in the Pharmaceutical Industry
The College of Pharmacy at Al Ain University organized Pharmacy Career Day at its campus, attracting widespread participation from over 20 local and regional pharmaceutical companies, factories, and pharmacies. The event served as a vibrant platform connecting students, graduates, and job seekers with key players in the pharmaceutical industry.
Among the participating entities were renowned organizations such as SPIMACO ADDWAEIH, Crosstalk Lab (Qatar), Hikma, Boehringer Ingelheim, Delta Medical, IGC Middle East, Leader Healthcare, Medicina Pharmacy, Al Manara Pharmacy, Al Ain Pharmacy, Altiqa Pharmacy, Prestige Pharmacy, Pharmplus Drug Store, ADCAN Pharma, Egopharma, Burjeel Hospital, Reem Hospital, Sebamed, Tabuk Pharmaceuticals, Avernas Pharma, PRA Consultancy, Dr. Nutrition, and Maple Pharma.
Several companies conducted on-site job interviews, providing promising career opportunities and allowing participants to engage directly with potential employers. In parallel, the College of Pharmacy showcased its postgraduate programs and scholarship opportunities, reinforcing its role in supporting students beyond graduation.
A special academic session added depth to the event, as Dr. Nouf Mahmoud from Crosstalk Lab, Qatar, delivered a lecture titled “Have You Done Your Research? A Step-by-Step Guide to Effective Writing and the Responsible Use of AI Tools.” The talk offered practical insights and professional guidance, enriching attendees' knowledge in research practices and modern technologies.
