Distinguished Participation of Al Ain University in the International Model United Nations in Rome 2026

As part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening its academic presence on the international stage, Al Ain University announced the participation of student Muhammad Imad Ullah Khan from the College of Engineering – Abu Dhabi Campus, in the Future We Want Model United Nations (FWWMUN) – Rome 2026, Italy.

The conference is considered one of the prestigious international educational initiatives organized by the World Council for Youth and Diplomacy, a non-governmental organization based in New York and affiliated with the United Nations Department of Global Communications. The event brings together hundreds of students and young leaders from more than 130 countries to simulate the work of the United Nations through dynamic discussions addressing global challenges aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This contributes to enhancing participants’ skills in diplomacy, leadership, and international collaboration.

Mr. Khan was selected to serve as a Committee Chair, a distinguished leadership role that reflects his advanced capabilities in managing formal debates, coordinating among international delegates, and facilitating dialogue and mediation. This selection highlights both his academic excellence and personal competencies, as well as the university’s commitment to equipping its students with global skills and leadership capabilities.

In this context, the Deanship of Student Affairs – Abu Dhabi Campus provided full support to facilitate the student’s participation in this international event, ensuring a distinguished representation of the university on a global platform.
