Deanship of Student Affairs organized a lecture about “Effective communication at work”
Believing in the need for qualifying students and university graduates for the labor market, the Deanship of Student Affairs organized a lecture entitled "Effective Communication at Work" in Al Ain University –Al Ain Campus, in collaboration with the College of Pharmacy and presented by Dr. Mohamed Ghattas, Assistant Professor in the College of Pharmacy, The lecture was attended by Dr. Khairi Mustafa, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, and with participation of the college students.
Dr. Ghattas started with a brief about the communication and its components, kinds of behaviors that are divided into: passive, aggressive, and the effective resolute behavior, He even provided a detailed explanation about each type, the actions undertaken by the owner of each behavior, and the ways that you can know a person's character by his behavior.
He also focused on the effective resolute behavior, and the techniques that can be used to acquire this behavior, in addition to the individual personality skills that should be in personality to implement these techniques.
How can you be effective in communication at work? One of the questions posed by Dr. Ghattas during the lecture, and he explained the methods and techniques that can be used for effectiveness and resolution in the work environment.
In this context, Dr. Mohamed Ghattas stressed on the importance of this lecture to students, especially graduates, where the purpose is to teach students how to acquire the skills and technology needed for effective communication, and qualifying students to be professional persons , in order to have sufficient capacity to deal with the work environment.
