AAU Chancellor enhances bilateral cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education in Oman
Dr. Noor Aldeen Atatreh- AAU Chancellor- and Dr. Nazih Khaddaj Mallat- Vice President, Accreditation and Quality Assurance- visited the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation in the Sultanate of Oman with the aim of strengthening the relationship between the university and the ministry. They were received by His Excellency Dr. Bakhit bin Ahmed Al Mahri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation.
Atatreh presented an overview of Al Ain University, the developments and achievements that the university has achieved since its establishment, the qualitative leap in the field of education and academic programs offered and obtaining the international accreditations and rankings. Atatreh pointed out that the development that took place at the university was a result of the wise leadership support to the higher education institutions in the UAE.
HE Dr. Al Mahri expressed his pride in the strong relationship that combines the United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman, particularly the relationship between Al Ain University and the Ministry, as a tribute to the great support offered by the University to the Omani students and services that will raise the level of the students’ outputs.
It is worth mentioning that; Al Ain University has successfully graduated many Omani students who are currently working in various institutions.
