Sheikh Theyab bin Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan Reviews Al Ain University’s Progress and Achievements with AAU Delegation
During a meeting with Sheikh Theyab bin Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al Ain University, a university delegation led by Dr. Noor Al Deen Atatreh, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and joined by Prof. Amer Qasem, President of the University, presented AAU’s key achievements and aspirations for the next phase.
The meeting highlighted Al Ain University’s ranking among the world’s top 450 universities in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2027, as well as its participation in the THE World Academic Summit 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa, where discussions explored the future of higher education and ways to strengthen universities’ societal impact.
The delegation also discussed the University’s plans to enhance the quality of education, support scientific research, and develop talent, in line with the UAE’s priorities and aspirations for a future driven by knowledge and innovation.
