A delegation from AD Traffic had a look at a project about using phones while driving

 

A delegate from Traffic and Patrols Directorate in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, chaired by the director Colonel Ahmed Al Zeyodi accompanied by Captain Mansour Al Marboouei, Policeman Waheed Al Arab, and other police officers visited Al Ain University of Science and Technology and had a look at the latest project of the College of Engineering students.

The delegation was received by Dr. Qutaibah Al Thbyan, Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Ibtehal Aburezeq Dean of Student Affairs,  Dr. Samir Mohammad and Dr. Saqib Iqbal from the College of Engineering. Where the student’s team included Yousef Al Tum, Rana Hazem, and Sarah Hamrouni.

The joint research project aims at dealing the distraction problem that drivers may have by using the mobile phone while driving. The first stage of the project was finished and delivered to the Traffic Directorate and future subsequent stages may follow soon. The project was supervised by the Head of Student Affairs in coordination with the College of Engineering.
