Research Interests

My research interests are in the field of clinical pharmacy and pharmacogenomics, focusing on two main areas:

(1) Pharmacogenomics and Precision Medicine: capturing human genetic information to study individual responses to drugs and studying a specific drug response in patients based on the identification of their gene variants to make clinical decisions based on their genetic profile and communicating this to healthcare providers.

(2) Clinical Pharmacy: exploring the impact and role of clinical pharmacists in the implementation of healthcare processes and services and in the evaluation of the safety and efficacy of medicines to improve patient outcomes and the quality of services provided to patients, as well as overall healthcare outcomes.
